Hi all,

Struggling to come up with a middle name for our little girl who we have decided on a first name for. We like Taylor for her first name. Our ds is Corey Jay Ellis. So we'd like something that would go with his name too.

Any ideas would be great :)

Taylor is a lovely name. My dd2 would be very Envy but that's because she loves Taylor Swift.

Maybe a name contrasting with the more masculine sounding Taylor? We did that for dd1, not sure if you want to.

Taylor Isabelle
Taylor Aurelie
Taylor Megan Rose
Taylor Zoe Jessica
Taylor Jemima
Taylor Jessica Eve
Taylor Sophia
Taylor Imogen
Taylor Annabel

I think one-syllable middle names go best: Lee / Leigh (can't remember which one's for a girl!), May, Ann, etc

I think, since it is a unisex name, something definitely feminine is nice in the middle. Taylor Elizabeth? Taylor Rose?

Taylor Beth
Taylor Faye
Taylor Claire

Thanks for suggestions so far I think I like Faye or Rae for middle names but also wondered about Jane so we could shorten it to TJ. Any thoughts?

Rae or Jane are nice, not sure Faye flows as well.

Taylor Rae sounds beautiful. I like Taylor Jane as it's a great mix of a more modern name with a more traditional name, but I don't especially like TJ (I love Tay or Lorri) but then again, it's a fun nickname too. My favourite is Taylor Rae- it sounds beautiful altogether.

Taylor Rae is nice.

I don't like Taylor though - sorry!

I think Taylor is a lovely name.

I would go for a very feminine or traditional middle name to go with it though as it is quite a unisex name

Taylor Elizabeth
Taylor Jane
Taylor Rose
Taylor Sophia
Taylor Marie

Taylor Isobel

I love Taylor Swift, which perhaps shouldn't be an admission on MN at the age of 32! Blush She was named for James Taylor the country singer.
