honest thoughts, too much of a mouthful?

Dh and I don't know what gender bambino we're having and still have plenty of time (I'm currently 27 weeks) we've come up with and agreed on Boys names pretty quickly. but girls names are proving difficult, that said think we may have settled on a first name, Lila (p. Lie-La) with a potential middle name of Erica.

what do you think? bit of a mouthful?

I don't think Lila Erica really flows to be honest. I think there are two many vowels and the names flow into one another. If you want those I would do two middle names to break them up.

But if it doesn't matter if it flows, why even bother with a middle name, unless it is to honour a relative (in which case people normally mention it. But if that is the case, I agree, who cares if it flows). Other than doing that, what's the point of a middle name except to sound nice on the odd occasion you say the whole thing.
