When I had DD (18 years ago) there was another mum in hospital with me who had a 3 year old Georgia.

And I've come across one since, same age as my DD, who had a sister called Louisiana.

One of the girls I used to work with was called Georgia, she's in her early 30's now. Such a beautiful name, don't think it's as common amongst children as other names are xx

NickNacks Tue 07-May-13 13:55:19

I know one, mid teens.

MaryPoppinsBag Tue 07-May-13 13:56:12

It's quite common where I live - ex mining town up north.
Almost 1 in every year group in My DC's primary school I'd say.

MaryPoppinsBag Tue 07-May-13 13:57:01

I think I like it though.

SconeRhymesWithGone Tue 07-May-13 14:39:44

I love the name. I think it is more common in the UK than in the States where I live. The only one I know of is DH's grandmother who was a Georgia (from New York).

OneLittleToddleTerror Tue 07-May-13 14:41:26

I know two. One 5 year old, one 2 year old.

SingSongMummy Tue 07-May-13 14:42:52

I know a five year old Georgia in London.

There might have been a 15mo one in my house if DH wasn't such a miserable old sod...

Bibblebobbleparsnip Tue 07-May-13 16:36:44

I have one! She's 10 months old... I also know a 6yr old one and of an 14 year old. Ours gets Georgie and Gigi for short...

WileyRoadRunner Tue 07-May-13 21:14:51

I have one! 8 years old. Have only ever met one other who is 9 now.

mummytime Tue 07-May-13 21:16:46

Iseeall Tue 07-May-13 21:20:12
