Horrible. The ultimate surname name. Also dated.

Nice as a used mn , if you have the right surname it's like a double-barrelled name eg James Harrison Jones

I love it but couldn't have nn Harry as rhymes with my dd's name. I posted on here and it got scathed!!! I went with a diff name but still love Harrison it was just not for my boy Grin

It wouldn't be my choice. I also think it is, or very soon will be, dated.

I instantly think Harrison Ford so great name if you want to have your child to be potentially called Indie in the playground and have the indiana jones theme tune sung at them throughout their life lol...but agree with the others,it is very much a surname, not a "proper" first name iyswim...

I know one, he's a troublemaker so sort of puts me off.

It's boring. Like Harry but trying and failing to be different.

At least Edison would make a change! why is Harrison so popular?

There are a few where I live and I always think of it being a surname. I don't understand why you'd use a surname as a Christian name, so for that reason I don't like it.

I do like Harry though, although it is somewhat ubiquitous now.

Awful.

I like it, considering it as a middle name, although it is a family surname for us. As a first name the child would almost certainly only ever be called Harry.

Interesting. :) I only put my post on a couple of days ago, and we have settled for Harrison James. I love it! :) Have my C-Section booked for Tuesday
