Frederick and Wilfred would probably be shortened to Freddie.

Finbar would probably be shortened to Fin.

I like Frederick but not Finbar so much - makes me think of a chocolate bar...

Finbar makes me think of Finbarr Saunders (and his double entendres) from Viz. Sorry.

Frederick definitely the best of those three.

For some reason 'Finbar' made me think of 'fubar'.....but that's probably just me.....

I really like both Finbar and Wilfred.
Least keen on Frederick.

Love Wilfred. Finbar also makes me think of double entendres.

I thought of double entendres for Finbar too, and there are quite a lot of little Finns around at the moment.

I think Wilf and Freddie are both lovely.

Frederick/Freddie all the way.

Wilfred/Wilf just hortible (you did ask!)

Finbar, like pp, also reminds me of 'fubar' (fucked up beyond all recognition). Might as well call the poor sprog 'snafu'!

I like the shortened versions of those names.

Finn is v nice.
Finbar makes me want to boom it and stomp march about.... Don't ask why!!
I don't get the connotations though?
