I think Fred and Sidney sounds nice.

Some suggestions don't work that well imo - Fred & Frank or Fred & Bert sound too similar /tonguetwistery, I think.

I like the suggestions of Fred & Hugo, Fred & Quentin or Fred & Marcus or how about Fred & Simon?

Walter works well imo what about

I'd choos a 2 syllable name to go with 1 syllable Fred. Hope these are 'old fashioned' enough:

Fred and Arthur
Fred and Quentin
Fred and Austin
Fred and Reuben

We've got a Fred and an Albert (Bertie). DH wanted George but I vetoed it as I didn't want them to sound like the Weasleys. We also had Harry on the short list.

Peter. Love it.

Ooh yeah, Ernest, love that, would have used it, but for surname issues.

I think a Weasley name would be great, but the association might get a bit wearing.

So instead, how about: Archie, Peter, Andrew, Marcus?

You can't have Fred and George unless they've for red hair and are good at Quidditch.

James would be my choice.

I think Fred & Stan sound good together

We've come up with loads of girls names that go with Fred, but we're really struggling with a boys name!

We want a kind of old-fashioned name, like Fred, but obviously they are all so popular these days. We want something that isn't in the top 20 names preferably... Any ideas?
