32 my hairy arsehole Hmm

Poor wee Papaya. Stupid name and a pair of fuckwits for parents. Sigh.

Well, I suppose if you can have Apple and Peaches, why not Papaya? Not my thing though - I like "proper" names.

I saw a documentary thing about her.....her 16 year old daughter is fabulous, so much more switched on and mature than her mother. As soon as I saw the thread title I knew it was abut her.

Awful name.And they might as well call the poor baby 'Vomit Fruit' because that's what papaya tastes like.

Pawpaw! Hahahahahahaha!

Poor child, what an ugly name.

32? She looks older than me and she's had plastic surgery.

I think they have her age wrong tbh....

I like the fruit.

Its a silly name, but they are all at it really arent they. I would ask to be called Paps.

Ick! Not a good name, but I'm guessing she's thinking of Peaches Geldof or Apple don't the the surname but daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow?

As in the fruit? Dear god alive

Worse than Peaches. Better than Apple. Heaven help the Pineapples and Satsumas that follow.

I think in the documentary she came across much better, it showed that she knew her approach to surgery etc wasn't normal and she did not want that for her daughter. Hence the daughter is so normal I think....wasn't even allowed a boyfriend until she was 16.

I agree. She seemed a bit daft and a bit troubled but basically nice. Her eldest daughter us a real gem.

I bet she had the What To Expect app on her phone. It tells you what size fruit your unborn baby is every week. Ours is nicknamed Papaya in honour of this (although it's now a large cantaloupe melon, apparently). It is unlikely to go on the birth cert though.

EarnestDullard · 28/09/2012 10:08

I have the What to Expect book, and one that stuck in my mind was when the baby was the size of a "mango dipped in greasy cheese" (or something). I'm not sure Mango Dipped In Greasy Cheese goes with our surname though Hmm

Earnest :o :o :o Does it really say that?
Your baby is now the size of:
A small anorexic blue tit;
A furball coughed up by a three-year old tortoiseshell tom cat;
A pineapple, gone slightly off, then dipped in baked bean juice.
:o

Papaya, to me, is a make of clothes from Matalan.

And the fruit is sometimes pronounced, 'Paw Paw'.
What a shame for that child.
