Do you ever recommend your own DCs names/s?

Just curious. DD has a rare name, only about 10 girls with her name last year, though its not unusual. I quite often see threads where her name would fit the poster's style or criteria, but so far I haven't recommended it. Probably because I'm being a bit pfb about the name Blush

Do you ever recommend your DCs names, especially if they are less common, or do you like to share?

I have recommended DD1s name and middle name but only because it was relevant. It was also done so amongst other like-names. I don't blow the trumpet for no good reason!! (For the record, she is my pfb :) )

I have defended DD2s middle name from very ignorant comments. It was difficult to remain objective, but I think I did it well.

Exactly, nagoo! Isn't that awful?!

Mamma, that must have been difficult to restrain yourself. I know if any of DD's names were criticised I'd be fuming.

Yes. It's Sam so it's never going to be rare. :)

I never had because it never seems to fit the bill of what the poster is after. Next time someone comes looking for an unusual-ish biblical name beginning with a J though, I'll be there :o
