How close to registering did you leave it to decide on a name?

Did you decide sitting in the Register Office waiting room or were you even still deciding during the appointment? Just wondering how last minute you've all been!

Ds2 was three weeks old before we finally decided. And only once we had did we actually book the appointment to register him.

Her middle names were decided before she was born. (It took a long time for us to find family names we liked. All the way back to great, great grandparents..) Her dad chose her name when at hospital but aited 3 weeks to get her registered. To much organisation to get all three of us out and there on time!

Both DD and DS were named within a week of our 20 week scan after we found out the gender Smile.

I had names for them all in advance but tend to add a few in the car on the way to the office.

DS1 we decided his name a week before chirstmas, and was born within the next month.
DC2 is due in July, if it is a boy, then we have already got a name, but undecided if its a girl, and tbh, i think i would wait until she was here.
