I have go two little girls Phoebe and Martha and need something classy, elegant different but not too wacky for third little girl arriving April...any ideas?
Current thoughts are Anna or Eleanor (Nell)

I like Eleanor!

I've always liked Grace, Iris, Florence and Hermione (though it does have the inevitable Harry Potter attachment now) but I'm not sure if they fit what you're looking for.

Anna and Nell are my two favourite English girl's names
(my two favourite girl's names ever are both Welsh, Elin and Cerys), so I am no help at all. I know why DD is not Anna, but not why we didn't use Nell.

Tessa?

I love Eleanor as well.

Or Emma?
Hermione?
Freya?

Thanks, I love Grace Iris and florence but surname starts Se and can sound a bit "hissy" with the ce endings!

Anna and Eleanor are both lovely - look no further :)

What about Delilah? Not sure if I am brave enough... sort of thing they could hate in years to come.

I love Anna. Also Lydia, Rachel, Delia, Talia.

I like Delilah but honestly I would be put off by the Tom Jones link.

Thank you JestersHat. I was worried that both are a little too boring but maybe you are right and I shouldn't look any further. Middle names??!!

I like Anna and Eleanor (don't like Ellie though which most Eleanors seem to turn into)

What about:
Alice, Alexandra, Bethany, Clara, Charlotte, Daisy, Elsa, Esme, Florence, Helena, Iris, Ivy, Juliette, Julia, Katherine, Lara, Rebecca, Rachel, Sarah, Sorrell, Violet.

Oh, Julia is lovely.

Yeah, I am with you on Ellie - too cutesy.

Phoebe, Martha & Eleanor :) Lovely trio of names, lucky little girls

Eleanor is very very nice. A candidate for DD1's name as her great great grandmother is Ellen.

Just to say DD1 is not named Eleanor/Ellen and neither is DD2.

Eleanor is a beautiful name and even shortened to Ellie it still sounds pretty. It's also ageless.

My favourites are Verity, Imogen and Cordelia but not likely to have a girl now!

Phoebe and Martha are lovely too!

I think Diana is a pretty name, which is due for a revival.

I like Eleanor (and Phoebe and Martha too).

How about Caroline or Josephine?

I know an Eleanor so wouldnt chose it but like Eleanora

My DDs are named after grandmothers for middle names and as my DH is from French origin which makes it difficult when naming DCs with our surname. I would seriously think about your surname then find a name that works.

Teacup- I cant think of Cordelia without thinking of Buffy

I have a Gisele Yulia and a Nataliya Marguerite from French and Russian Heritage

I wanted Ilona, Elodie, Ilana or Tabitha but was shot down.
Choose something you want that may or not be fashionable (my DD2 I wanted Emelia but Amelia was so popular we went for DH granny's name)

Thank g-d I had girls as we really couldnt agree on boys names

I like Anna very much, but prefer Helena to Eleanor, which could still be shortened to Nell.
