Baby names

Does anyone fancy helping me make a shortlist?

We have a

Sophie Marie
Ellen jean
Beth(any) Sarah

I'm pregnant with number 4, kind of assuming it will be another girl but suggestions for a surprise boy equally welcome, what on earth do we call the 4th and last child in our clan? We have ages yet I'm just feeling a (probably hormonal) need to have an idea of what we will call this baby rather than baby 4!

We're on number four too! I love these names and think they would sound lovely with your girls' names -

Matilda
Natalie/Natalia
Freya
Phoebe
Abigail
Rebecca
Harriet
Isla

Ethan
Alexander
Edward
Joshua
Danial
Robert
Elliot

I think a classic name would go very well with your girls' names as they are so timeless.

Littlepandabear we have no idea, number 3 didn't have a name lined up till after birth and sort of got stuck with it as the midwife ran with it when we said we were considering it!

Lots of lovely names thank you all

I'm quite taken with Megan and I like Georgia but dh has vetoed that as a first name. Boys names are hard, I think it's the amount of girls but any boys name on the end just sounds wrong :o quite like Alexander though, not sure dh is sold

Congratulations putthatcatoutnow, my nameis a name that is common in women 20 years older and it took me a long time to get used to it, we wanted names that were contemporary but not too trendy if that makes sense.

Ooo have I helped to name your child? I don't usually comment in the Baby names forum but maybe I will from now on Grin I do think Megan sounds perfect with your other names.

I won't suggest boys names, I don't want to push my luck. Good luck whatever you decide and with the rest of your pregnancy.

I think you may have, lots of lovely names on here and lots that probably wouldn't have occurred to me including Megan! I don't often come in here either but have seen the lists others with more imagination than me produce so after a couple of days of thinking about it I decided it couldn't hurt to post!
