What do you think for a boy?

I don't like it. But I don't like that 'type' of name ie surnamey, slightly unisex names.

Surnames as first names, aren't my thing, so I don't really like it. However, if it helps, it does seem a boy's name rather than a girl's name.

I don't normally like that kind of name, like FMW says above, it's kind of surnamey (like Mason, Spencer, Jackson etc) but there's a very sweet little boy at DD's nursery called Riley so I quite like it now. If that makes any sense.

It's not the name itself that's the problem, it's the fact that at this particular time it is perceived as chavvy by lots of people. In another era it would probably be seen quite differently. I quite like it and think you should use it if you like it.
