Sebastian Gabriel?

Hi

Just looking for some feedback please. My husband is very keen on the name Sebastian for a boy and I've always wanted Gabriel in a son's name but have decided not to use it as a first name. Does this 'go' as a name or is it too long?

If it sounds rubbish can anyone offer good middle names for Sebastian?

Thanks very much :)

Very nice, look no further! Both classic names which go well together.

I think they go well although I 'd try to wriggle a little Duncan in there somehow. Preferably before Sebastian.

Personally I think a one syllable middle name would flow better e.g.
Sebastian John
Sebastian Lee
Sebastian George

Although I do love Gabriel and much prefer it over Sebastian (really dislike Seb/Sebby/Basty, sorry).

Both lovely but maybe a bit long together. How about Sebastion Gabe. That said how often do you say a full name (unless theyre being naughty) :)

i agree with Rachel234. they are both beautiful names but a bit too chunky together.

too 'clunky' together.. needs one syllable...

Another one here who thinks the combination sounds too cumbersome together. A one syllable middle name would go much better imo.

I too prefer Gabriel over Sebastian as I don't like the nicknames Seb/Sebby or Bassy.

It's cool - how often do we say our middle names anyway. Gabriel is a personal fave

They go really well together. Sounds fine and doesn't matter about number of syllables - we almost never say them aloud together anyway.

DS2 has Gabriel as a middle name and I often call him both names because I love it so much,

Perfect, dont listen to the one syllable lot, DS is Sebastian Wilfrid Joseph.
