Okay. Rosa? Or...?

Floundering around for names at 37+ weeks still!

We both like Rosa - would be Rosa Jane.

DP has vetoed Arabel, Cleo, Orla, Tamsin. I have vetoed Erin.

Still not sure about Rosa, worried that it's quite popular what with Rosie, & also concerned that it's too "matchy" with DD, who is Nina.

Any guidance?!

I think Rosa and Nina sound lovely together (and not too matchy).
If you both love it, I would go for it!!

I love it. Ds is 17 and one of his friends is called rosa and she is lovely! It is pretty without being weak and is quite rare.

Rosa is my favourite girls name but DP hates it, so can't use it. Go for it - I will live vicariously through you!

I think Rosa is more uncommon than Rosie or Rose. It goes well with Nina.
I also like Arabel.

I have a 5 yr old Rosa and have Nina in mind if I ever had another girl, so I would say definitely yes. A longer name would be less 'matchy'..but honestly, I don't think that's the first thing people will think of when they hear her name

oh, I LOVE Clementine or anything that gives the nickname Clem - DP won't go for it, & given the surname starts with a C that puts me off it a bit.

Afraid I don't think we like longer names! Always seem drawn to two syllable names - although we did waste Catherine on DD's middle name. & for some reason I don't like Rose.

I love Rosa. Elegant, and unusual without being weird. Beautiful. I know what you mean about matching with Nina, but I think they actually work quite well together. They do sound similar, but also individual.

I love Rosa (DD1 mn so I kind of have to plus she is names after someone - Luxemburg). Goes with Nina in a good way.
Clementine sounds a bit odd with Nina if I'm honest.
