Baby names

Sister for Libby?

Help me pleease! My daughter's name is Eliabeth and we call her Libby. I really like the classic longish names with a shorter, feminine nn. I like

Katherine (Kitty)
Harriet (Hattie)
Um, that's all I can come up with Grin

Also, I love the name Rose, but can't think of a longer version of it that I like. I like Roseanne but I just think of the American tv series. Roseanna makes me think of the Toto song and I think Rosamund might sound a bit clunky??

Was picking baby names always this much of a faff?? Grin

Oh they are all nice, thanks. Rosalie is very pretty, as is Clemmie but not sure I could get away with such a posh name!

Libby and Rose - Lovely. Very Classic. Could have a Rosemary or Rosalind?

Libby and Kitty - mmm nice but it's just not working for me. Not sure why.
Libby and Hattie or Hats..much better imo

What about:

Libby and Charlie, Coco (Charlotte)
Libby and Ella, Gabby or Coco (Very Chanel darling Smile) (Gabriella)
Libby and Georgie (Georgina)
Libby and Annie, Bella, Belle (Annabel or Annabella) or you could have Arabella?
Libby and Alexia, Alex, Alix, Lexi, Lexie, Lexy, Sandy, Ally (Alexandra)
Libby and Merry (Meredith)
Libby and Jenny, Jen, Jennie, (Jennifer)

Roseanna is a bit saccharine or something. NOT sure why I think that as I like Susannah and I like Rosemary but Anna and Rose together, no...

Rosemary seems to have a bit more weight. Hmm what the hell do I mean!?!? even i do not know Grin

Rosemary and Elizabeth with Romy and Libby would be lovely and well-matched

Shock 'Peaches' is not posh?

Lots of great suggestions here, peeps, thanks very much!

Grin at bandwithering and her weighty Rosemary.

I'm going to talk to h about your suggestions later, as they're all lovely Smile

Off course it's not posh..but it's a fruit just like Clementine!?!

Josephine and Suzannah are lovely and Posy is sweet.

Lets us know YaMaYaMa what DH thinks of your 'new' list. Grin
