Came across this name the other day and can't imagine how it is spoken. Tylaaah? Tar-y-lar?

I am tempted to say that it is pronounced CHAV - but I am nice, so I won't. Agree with Nagini that it is indeed freaking awful though.

Didn't take long before a chav post did it

Chav is entirely appropriate. That is a fucking awful name.

I would've said it's pronounced tbh.

I have just spat coffee at that name. OP, do you actually know these people? Or is it just a random name you saw written somewhere?

I imagine it's pronounced in a loud screechy voice but slightly muffled due to fag hanging out of mouth.

Best to ask. A friend had a Mylea a while ago and I hoped for the best and went for 'Miley'. Nope.

Tay-lar?
But doesn't the 2nd vowel change the sound of the 1st so maybe it is Ta-la?

Report
Nagini · 31/07/2011 17:20

how does one pronounce mylea then show?

Report
ShowOfHands · 31/07/2011 17:26

Oh I still don't get it tbh.

The lea bit is 'leah' and the 'my' is something like mi (short sound). I call her baby girl most of the time.

Nagini · 31/07/2011 17:30

me-lay?
