Is Caleb ok if his brother is Kaiden??

I'm liking Caleb for our new baby boy but not sure if it goes with his brother's name of Kaiden. Are they too similar or is it something I shouldn't even worry about?

They do sound a bit too similar but if that doesn't bother you then why not?
Connor?
Corey?

I think they sound different enough. And it is also helpful that the initials are different (post etc).

I don't care much, but I don't like it either; I was thinking today about people who name their kids "Erin Amber Aura and Erica". When you have to shout up the stairs, how can anybody be sure which name it was you hollered?

If child1 is always Kaiden & child2 goes by nn Cal that's a bit different.

Ds1 has a name very similar to Kaiden and ds2 is Caleb. I think their names go great together but ds1's first initial isn't C or K, and they have nicknames that I use more than their 'proper' names so it doesn't matter how they sound together.

I think they are similar names and go well together.

I think they are too close, they are identical vowel sounds - "...ay...eh.." The vowel sounds are the ones that travel far, they are also the easiest to pick up.

My father is lloyd, his brother is roy. For 20 years they never knew who their mother was hollering for, all they could ever hear was "oy".

I think they're too similar personally.
