The e on the end makes it crap. Delphi, which is a gorgeous, other-worldly sort of place, would make a good name. But please don't piss around with the spelling.

We considered Delphi (no e!) as a name, with Delphine on the bc.
I think it is a lovely, unusual without being wierd, name.
(We only rejected it as Delphi is a programming language, and DH is a computer programmer, so it might have caused a few comments amongst his circles. Apparently.)

Definitely without the e. My DD was at primary with Delphi. Her mum was a bit arty farty, but I always thought it was a lovely name.
