I like it. It was my Grandma's name. Actually, her "real" name was Anne, but she was called Nancy her whole life. nice alternative to Annie as a nn.

I have one. She's 4. She's great. She's lots of fun and she's feisty.

I didn't know David Cameron had a Nancy when we named her - I doubt he was on my radar much in 2006/2007 - and it might've changed my mind if I'd realised, though I can't imagine her being called anyting else.

I've met about 2 others in 5 years, though I know it's getting more popular.

Well I've lived with it for 34 years...... Eventually liked it. Was the only one at any school I went to. Freaked me out if I ever heard anyone else called by the same name and they were under 70. I was never too goody two shoes, although maybe dull at times..... but also rather stubborn and new my own mind.
As a little girl though, I always thought it sounded spiky. Take from that what you will!
