I'm looking for 1 syllable girls names. Have agreed on first name but cant find a middle name we both like. Any sugguestions would be great. Neither of us want Eve, May, Grace as find them very common although lovely names.

Do you want something that is definitely a free-standing name, or is a shortened version OK?

Some more suggestions: Pearl, Nell, Claire, Joy, Liese, Joan, Faith, Joyce, Skye?

We might need to hear the first name to make sure the middle name sounds OK.

Anne, Bea, Niamh, Jo

Woohoo some ideas i havent thought of. I dont mind if its a free-standing name or a shortened version as long as it sounds right IYKWIM. The name is Destinee which has a lot of meaning for me and I love it. Just really awkward to find a middle name that sounds right.

I do think Rose sounds the best with Destinee actually.

Faye and Anne sound okay.

Faith and Hope go quite well but the meaning starts to sound a bit OTT doesn't it!

I agree, the "virtue" names don't work, and the very solid (IYSWIM) names don't either.

Claire, Faye and Anne might work.

Glad its not just me that thought Rose went well. I love Paige but need to convince DP on either of them lol.
yes it does get a bit OTT with Hope or Faith. Its a really awkward name to find one went on name geneie for ideas and it came up with Diamond as a middle name i immediately thougth stripper lol.

Thank you for all of your sugguestions will run them past DP later and hope we can agree on something. I'd rather it have a middle name. Firdt and surname means we should try to keep to a shorter middle name.. It just cuts possibilities down a lot more
