Boys:
I love Edward.
Alexander is ok, but I don't like the shortening of Alex, which you may not have a choice over.
Henry is ok. I much prefer Harry.
I don't like James/Jamie.

Girls:
Isla is gorgeous, but fashionable and very 'now'.
Alice is lovely.
Leela just sounds odd to me.
Elizabeth is just beautiful! So many lovely nn's that an Elizabeth will always be an Elizabeth if that makes sense I would definitely use Elizabeth over Eliza.

I love all the boys names!

I'd only go for Leela if the whole family are dedicated Doctor Who fanatics (though I do like it).

Isla is OK, and I think Alice and Eliza/Beth are lovely.

I love Eliza (was on my list when I was pregnant with DS) and Edward is lovely too (would he be Ed / Woody?)
One of my best friends has a daughter called Isla - v pretty name.

Elizabeth and Alice are lovely. Less keen on Isla, and don't like Leela.

Girls - Leela is a 1970s Dr Who companion. Alice is lovely. Isla/Elizabeth OK/nice.

Alexander is my favourite of your boys' names by far; Edward is okay but prefer Edmund. Not keen on James or Henry.

Girls: Alice, Leela or Eliza would be my choice. Arf at all the people wondering if Leela is a real name! I know a lovely Lila pron. Leela (mum is Hungarian).

Never liked Elizabeth and Isla is a bit meh, also very popular right now.

Leela just say futurama to me. i love Lilah, but leela does sound made up, sadly. and i think stands out because the rest of your names are very common.

Alice and James I think, both are lovely names.

I know a lot of Isla's so thats too popular for me, Leela I've only known through futurama so not too keen. Elizabeth is nice but a bit too dull for me.

I don't like Henry, do like Edward, could take or leave Alexander.
