I like it a lot. I kept putting it on my list and then remembering that it sounds almost exactly like our surname and would therefore be ridiculous.

I like it. I think it is very American, though (not a bad thing if you live in the UK, as it is quite rare here imho)...

I have always loved the name Monica however our oldest is Phoebe and dd no 2 was born during the Monica Lewinski "thing" so I never got my Monica but oh i love it

The Monica Lewinski thing was the only thing that put me off using it for DD3 -- another fan here.

Monica was a very ancient saint from Roman North Africa, the mother of Saint Augustine of Hippo.

First thing that came to mind was Monica Lewisnski. Its alright, but I think there are nicer names tbh.
