What do you think of the sib set
Liam Tanner & Amelia Taylor/Freya?

Do they sound good together?

Not sure on the middle name for Amelia, any suggestion?

Hi - I think Liam and Amelia sounds really nice together, as they have very similar sounds but don't rhyme, blend into each other, or trip you up when you try to say them together.

I know middle names aren't used often but I do think that if they both have two syllable "T" names it might push it over the edge to a little too "matchy."

Personally I think I'd pair Amelia with a single-syllable middle name, like Grace or Rose.

I think they do blend into each other. I'm saying them out loud (no-one here!) and they get a bit tongue-twisty

Liam is just using the same letters as Amelia without the added a and e. I'm afraid the coupling doesn't strike me as being very imaginative and the names although having different connotations, are essentially very similar in print. The previous poster, is right when she says that they run together when saying them aloud.

Is there a reason why you're using surnames as middle names?

But won't there always be an "and" between them? I can see how names running into each other would be a problem for choosing first and middle, but why would it matter with a sib set? Nobody's going to be saying "Liam Amelia" or "Amelia Liam."

Maybe if there's a third child at some point, and it's "These are my children, Liam, Amelia and Newbie", but even then I think an M-A or A-L last letter / first letter combination don't actually run together.

Sorry to be argumentative, I know I already gave my opinion once! :)

I would use Millie as a nickname for Amelia, I would call her by Millie

They have too many letters in common, and I think they morph into each other too much. Millie is even closer to Liam, just the sounds rearranged -- Llie-im, Mill-ie.

I think William and Amelia work better together tbh.
