I’ve had a few infusions, and am usually tired for the day after.

I also usually get the infusions in term time so I can rest afterwards.

This time I got up the next day (after being awake since 3am with kidney pain) and took DD to a theme park with DH.

I sat the last few rides out as felt crap by mid afternoon.

Today is day 4 and I still feel like I’ve got flu type symptoms and cannot stay awake.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar.

Poor you. Which illness is the medicine aiming to treat?

I think you should report how you feel to your consultant or GP. Do it soon so they can check your blood for indications of what's not right.

Hope you feel a lot better.

It’s for treatment of Crohn’s disease.

The side effects are listed and I get bloods as a regular measure so it’s all being monitored. Just this time the effects have lingered longer than usual. Which I’m guessing is my fault for doing too much, I was just wondering if anyone experienced similar.

I’ve also got consultant appt in 2 weeks, so not going to stress too much.

There are options for biologics to treat Crohn's. You could possibly ask your consultant if a different one might be more suitable. Good luck.

Thanks Molly. I’m on my fourth biological now and running out of options.

Hoping for some new drugs to come on the market soon.

Is Tysabri still in use for Crohn's?
