HELP! Debbie Bliss pattern needed

EffiePerine · 24/09/2008 20:50

I've knitted the Debbie Bliss cashmerino striped cardigan twice now, and gaily trotted off to the wool shop to buy some more yarn for DC2, due in Dec. Can I find the book? No. Is there any kind MNer who would be prepared to copy the cardigan pattern for me (and poss the comic stripy hat) or do I need to trek to John Lewis to buy the wretched book again? It's from Cashmerino 2, the one with the spooky knitted bunny.

Please help! I have a load of Sublime cashmere merino silk yarn and nothing to make with it!

Yep, I've got it. Spooky bunny?!? Was lovely when I made it recently. Also made the cardie to go with it for present. Tis gorgeous.

Never PM'd before - do I have to do anything before you can mail me your address?

If you can do it today that would be great. Will get DH to copy it tomorrow at work then cos am away for two weeks form Saturday.

wingandprayer: thank you! Could you email me at personal not business at gmail dot com? (no spaces obv). I don't think my CAT registration is up to date. Am happy to pay for postage or send you some stamps or whatever.

If you could, I can justify getting the Sublime baby knitting patterns as there's another lovely cardigan in there (but prob suited to a slightly older baby). It's the striped cardigan and the striped hat in the Debbie Bliss book that I need. Such a useful design for slipping over the top of a babygro or whatever. I would recommend knitting it in the Sublime cashmere merino silk mix as it comes up beautifully (doing a beige and cream combo this time)

How about a swap then? I'll copy you the Cashmerino patterns, you copy me a nice pattern from the baby Sublime book and post them back. I've only got some Sublime adult books. DS is 2 if they have anything nice. If nothing suitable in book don't worry about it, I can live without 35p or whatever. Or rather DH's work can .Be in touch by e-mail shortly...

Done

I was thinking of one of the jumpers here

www.englishyarns.co.uk/sublime_book_612.html

or the cardigan here

www.englishyarns.co.uk/sublime_book_600.html

though I have several of the patterns from the second book already and that stripy jumper does look nice...

Ooooo - lovely! Thanks. Metelot from first one or vintage car coat from the second please, if they come in size 2-3 or even 3-4 (slow knitter with too many things on the go at once )

Just e-mailed you btw

those are exactly the ones I had pegged

the vontage car coat is lovely, but it's the only thing I like from there that I don't already have so not sure I can justify the money. If you haven't tried the retro flying helmet, it is great as a baby and and compeltely hysterical on.

if you like that style, this set from the Debbie Bliss baby knits books is also good (I can find this book, so let me know if you;d like the pattern). It's a jacket and leggings set, the image here is a bit wonky:

Jacket is very cute so yes please. Not sure about the leggins with my very rough and tumble boy. Would be back to yarn within hours!
