Cardmakers - where do you get all your bits from?

I bought a few little bundles off Ebay, but they weren't actually that good value for money - more like people getting rid of random batches of stuff..

DD (9) and I have only recently started making cards. We need lots of stuff which I need to buy gradually, eg glue (what glue? Have used PVA type in those little pen shaped containers that DD got in some craft kits til now but it doesn't go far).. some of little sticky pads (well lots of them), card to stick nice pictures onto, eg if using wrapping paper and making 3d pics, IFKWIM? And lots of other bits which I probably don't even know I need!

Please advise, established card makers! And DON'T expect us to be entering any of your card challenges, ever! (I have put "made by DD and Shiny" on the back of them all so far - even though some of them are not made by BOTH of us... so then, people will think "Aw how cute!" instead of "Ugh! How shit!" at my beginners efforts, lol!)

Poundland sell 3d foam. And they sell other bits too. Other than that you can search for online stores.

I'm nolonger a card maker but have got into scrapbooking. I'm hooked here at www.ukscrappers.co.uk and they have a list of sponsors who sell craft stuff...

I'm really into scrapbooking but do also make a few cards for family and friends with my stash... i get most of my stuff from HappyScrapper and ScrapbookVillage websites and get a few things from sellers on ebay. x

For glue - i like either double sided sticky tape, or rollers, which have yape inside them. You dont get any wet mess or lumps and bumps, and they stick better than pritt type sticks.

Google card making, and youll find some great online shops. I think there was a thread on here a while ago, people posted their fave sites.
