How much time do you devote to your craft?

Just wondered how much time people get to spend on their craft activities and how many projects do you have on the go at any one time. I work 3 days a week and never seem to finish any projects and keep starting new ones

So my answers are 2-3 hours on days off and 6 projects.

1-2 hours most days. After the kids are in bed. I would have 2 or 3 projects on the go. I like to have something of various difficulties and sizes. Like now, I have a crochet blanket that is just time consuming but requires no concentration. But it is huge. I have a colourwork hat on the needles that needs my full attention when doing it. And another knitted cowl that is a an easier project.

I don't see any harm with having a few works in progress. But I have noticed that often planning and starting a project is more fun than finishing them. So every now and then I won't let myself start something new until I have completed something else.

I spend a couple of hours or more some days crocheting, then I can go days or weeks without doing any because work is too busy or I've lost my mojo.

I like to have a couple of different projects on the go. At the moment I've got a challenging mandala madness blanket and an easy mindful attic 24 moorland blanket which I can easily lose myself in.

I struggle to finish some projects but I normally get there in the end.

I usually spend an hour crocheting in the evening and maybe pick it up to do a few squares in the day if I'm not working.
I'm doing a ridiculously easy blanket to use up all my odds and sods of wool so it's not a project I have to think about.
I can be an eager beaver for a few weeks and crochet like a demon. Then I'll leave it for a few weeks before I pick it up again.

Whenever I am sitting I crochet.
In the car, only when dh is driving.
Waiting for the children at an activity.
I've even been known to crochet while standing waiting in a queue.

I have a few projects on the go.
Squares for Wooly hugs, a baby blanket and another blanket for my friends daughter to take to university.

Same as PP, some days I can crochet for 2 hours after work, other times I go weeks without doing anything. Have also been known to spend 6-7 hours in a day on it too (while off work sick).

I have 2 projects on the go (usually 3 but just finished my third). I like to have one or 2 big projects (currently v stitch blanket that is huge and mindless to work on and a patchwork blanket that I've had to make up the patterns for so needs more concentration). I also like to a have smaller, trickier but quicker to finish project like a hat / toy etc (most recent were iron man gloves).

I should add that I made a lot of gifts for Christmas so at the beginning of December I had about 10 projects on the go (I massively under-estimated the time things would take as I'm relatively new to crochet)

I do cross stitch and crochet. I tend to go through phases where I'll be obsessed with one, devoting time (quite often hours) to it every day, then have a break and swap to being equally obsessed with the other.

I tend to have quite a few projects on the go at the same time. I used to feel guilty for not finishing one before starting another but I've come to the conclusion that I enjoy planning and making things rather than having the actual finished product so who cares

Right now I've got a modest three cross stitches on the go, only counting ones I've actually started, not designs that are still in progress or waiting to be started. One is my magnum opus which is massive, complex and I've had on the go for several years. If I'm honest I'm not absolutely convinced I will ever finish it.

I've got four crochet projects (all blankets) in various stages of completion as well. I've not done any crochet at all for ages but when I do feel like doing some I tend to get quite a bit done before losing interest again. Seemingly never quite enough to finish anything though!!

Currently I'm spending most of my spare time cross stitching like buggery on a new project which is fiddly but immensely pleasing.

I'm a quilter and scrapbooker. I'm currently obsessed with English Paper Piecing and have three projects on the go (soon to be four) and I probably spend one-two hours a day on them. I also go to a quilting group once a week for a couple of hours, but that is mainly for social reasons.

kiwiscantfly I also English paper piece and love the fact it takes so long but has resulted in two UFOs. Plus I start other stuff. After I said I had six projects I found two other ones I had forgotten.
