plastic bottles - you can buy screw on attachments from Lakeland.

DS2 came home with one from school.
The bottom had been cut off a big 2 litre coke type bottle. A small hole was punched in opposite sides (2 holes only). A small bottle -they used those small Oasis bottles you know the kind i mean? It had about 4 small holes cut in the bottom, and two bigger holes, through which a stick was entered, it also went through the holes in the base of the big bottle, to hold it in place. It was then filled with birseed and the lid screwed back on the small bottle.

Did you follow any of that?

put a string on a pine cone and roll it in peanuty butter then in bird seed. Messy the kids will love it!
