Bamboo Wool Crochet Pattern for Man's Hat

I was wondering if anyone could help me to find a crochet pattern for a man's hat? My DBIL is due to start chemotherapy soon and I would like to make him a hat and scarf for his birthday, but was thinking that something like a bamboo wool would be nice and soft on his scalp if/when he loses his hair.

I've found some nice bamboo cotton DK yarn, just struggling to find a suitable pattern at the moment.
