I've had an order for a same sex "wedding" card. The design shows two people sat in a car here I was thinking of putting congratulations instead of Just Married but am not sure what they should be wearing or if they should both have bouquets. What do you all think?

i think you should stick with just married, as that is what they are celebrating.
dont know about the bouquet. id stick with neither. the bouquet denotes one as the feminine and the other s masculie. i dont know that much aabout same sex relationships, but they may not want to assume such roles.
unless they are both women, then both with bouquets.
suits if men, dresses if girls

Just Married- because they will be, won't they?

All the male ones I have seen have tuxedo's on; might be a bit more difficult for a female, but then i'd go for a formal dress in white (no veil) and trim (bouquets etc) to match colour scheme.

You could always ask the person who ordered if they are female?

This is why I like generic, not gender typical, cards such as Claddagh design / cakes / hearts. They don't assume religious wedding, mixed gender, first marriage or anything- and thenk goodness for that!!

Thanks for your imput. The card is for two women and the person ordering it has left it all up to me. I was thinking two white dresses and two bouquets which seems to be the consensus here.

I like the sort of fabric ones they have on here . I keep a few pink tutu's in for little friends of the boys, and one or two of the white dresses as they do for birthdays, wedding- all sorts.
