Anyone doing Big & Little Knitting Projects?

OK, no one shout at me, I knew all that before I decided to buy it and still did so not listening.

Right, question if you are doing it. I'm a little confused about what's going on with it. Gifts are appearing in a different order and I had a delivery today which only had one book in it. It's been 6 weeks since my last delivery and according to the leaflets that came originally is supposed to be two every four weeks. Has anyone else experienced it being like this?

I've cancelled my subscription because it was taking so long and I was getting things in the wrong order. Bloody annoying.

It's a knitting partwork where you make a blanket with the materials they send you each time and there's a book of themed patterns (cushions, babies, hats &scarves etc).

Glad it's not just me then Sad did you tell them why you wanted to cancel?

No because I couldn't find how to unsubscribe and could only find an email address so sent an email asking how to unsubscribe and got one back a couple of weeks later saying they'd unsubscribed me. I left it at that.

That's a shame, it would have been interesting to know what they said. I'm going to give it a little longer at least until I have all the gifts and see if it gets better, if not I'll try and call them. Maybe knowing MN are talking about how difficult they're being might help...

I spoke to them yesterday. They tried twice in one day to take money out! Because they've been messing it up I couldn't ensure there was money in the account on time because I wasn't expecting it.

so there was a technical issue that meant only one magazine went or in six weeks, they wrote to everyone and told them Hmm I asked if that was everyone but Mumsnet members and he said yes Hmm Hmm

That's crap! Are you sticking with the subscription to see if it will get any better?
If they'd have done that to me I'd have been buggered, I have to budget tightly at the moment.
Fingers crossed for no more muck ups if you do stick with it.

I want to, I'm hoping this is just teething issues and it will settle down. We're really struggling at the moment and we agreed I could have my knitting magazines so that I have something to do as we're not going out and can't pay our WoW subs, he's happy to play computer games all the time. I can not fathom how any company would think trying twice in one day would increase the chances of it being in there. I pay on card too (or was) so I didn't even get the warning that something was going out so that I could put money in or I have a DD protect thing where they loan me the money to cover a DD until payday.
