I'd love to make my own but can't seem to find empty ones...anywhere in the UK! Am I missing something?

I've use upside down jam jars. Maybe as a last resort you could use a special looking glass jar with a screw lid?

I think Baker Ross might do them.

I'm sure I saw them in a tesco extra a few days ago. They were on an end display, with photo gifts that you could customise.

Try //www.snowglobehq.com. They got a couple of good guides on making snow globes from scratch and with kits.

Here's the link:

How many do you want?
1 from poundland www.poundland.co.uk/stationery-and-crafts/arts-and-crafts/kids-crafts/glitter-dome-kit
More from baker ross www.bakerross.co.uk/design-a-snowstorm-1

However 2 for 99p sounds best bargain (also looking for some!)
