Hi everyone,

It's my first time hopefully mother to be, I should be around 6 weeks, some tests are faint positive and some are negative.

I had my first appointment with the midwife yesterday for my bloods and urine sample to be taken.

I don't know if it's just me in denial about the whole thing!!

I had a phone call back about my bloods and urine tests today to say everything is all fine but I still have it in the back of my head that I may not be pregnant. Do they use the blood and urine test to see if your actually pregnant? And would I have been told there and then if I wasn't?

Thanks in advance guys ❤️

Blood and urine will be positive for pregnancy only if there is hcg hormon, and that hormon is only produce when you pregnant.Blood must be over i think 5 hcg ,urine test is little less sensitive .You can always do tests everyday and see if the red line is getting stronger, but it might be stressful, just enjoy being pregnant!

Are you using different tests, at different times of the day and when you are more or less hydrated? Those factors will all affect the line.

How about an early private scan? That might put your mind at rest (briefly!)

Congratulations, BTW Flowers
