Hi, I am 30 + 1 weeks today as per scans, and as per due date 30+6 weeks. I have had my growth scan today and found out that my baby boy's head circumference is measuring at 90th centile and the posterior ventricles are 10.1 mm and 9.6 mm. Everything was normal in my 19+4 week scan, where the ventricle was 7.7 mm. I am scared now. Will the measurements (specially that of the ventricle) go down? or can it increase more?

What did the sonographer tell you about this? Did they suggest any extra follow up?

Hi, yes, they did. But they only mentioned about the large 90th centile head circumference, I read the report where the comment was made about the ventricle size and found out about it. Now I have to wait for 11 days with anxiety

These are normal ventricular measurements for a boy at this stage

I am not quite clear what is worrying you. These are not findings that should be causing you great concern. Unless there are factors you haven’t mentioned, this sounds normal. Please try not to worry.
Why did you have the scan?
