Hi All

I am in a bit of a pickle.

I have been unwell for a while (im often unwell so I am not worried) however I am showing some pregnancy signs. My Husband thinks I am pregnant but im not sure. We are not planning but want to no wither way so that we can get on with things. My Husband suffers from anxiety so its effecting him as he wants to know. Secretly I think we both want it to be positive.

I have been feeling some stomach cramps (But not been Sick). I have been getting headaches and feeling tired in the evenings. my b**bs aren't tender.

I have taken a number of pregnancy tests all Negative before my period and they were all Negative.

The most recent test before my period was taken from a pack of 2 Sainsbury's pregnancy tests. I took it and it was clearly Negative.

Yesterday was my period date (I'm usually like clock work) and I was not broken (as my husband says). I did notice some slight brown discharge. I shared my concerns with the Nurse at the GP surgery, as it was my annual pill check up, who said there is no possible way I could be pregnant because I am on the pill.

This morning I took the other Sainsburys test. And it seemed negative. After 7 minutes we put it in the bin to try and forget about it and get on with our day. My Husband got it out the bin again (He is not sure on the time) could be 15 mins after and there was a very thin line. He ran down the stairs to tell me but I couldn't see the line. (it was a very thin blue line, and my eyesight isn't the best, and he did have to put a torch under it to see it)

When he went to work (About an hour later) I took it out of the bin and had another look. The blue line is more visible and thicker. Darker blue around the edges. I have been starting at it for a further hour and it has no longer changed.

Photos as bellow:

You can get an evap line. If your unsure get another test not a Sainsbury one seen a few people that have had problems with them. 😊 good luck

Thanks - neither of us can stop thinking about it, and its going to be really hard having to wait until the morning.

You're not supposed to read tests after the time limit specified on the box because it can give you an evaporation line (basically a line that shows up that isn't actually a positive).

Tbh you don't sound pregnant. Do you normally have a bleed on the pill?

Try again tomorrow. Pink dye tests are generally better than blue - first response being the most reliable.

You don't have to wait until the morning to test. Just wait a few hours from your last wee.
