High risk combined screening: positive end result

10 days ago I received a phone call from my hospital after conducting the combined screening. Although my NT was in the normal range my blood tests weren't. My PAPPA a was fine but my Bcg was off the scale giving me a 1/23 chance of a DS diagnosis. We decided on the Harmony test.

I just wanted to post as the last 10 days' wait have been hellish but coming on here and reading all the posts (on all 28 pages!) really gave me hope and reassurance that everything would be okay - and this morning I found out they were! I said to myself that I would post on here (not something i'd normally ever do) in the hope that someone who finds themselves in the same position as me might gain some sense of comfort and reassurance in the same way that I have from the posts of others.

Thanks to all those who took the time to post as it really helped me xxx

Thank you for posting, I'm in the waiting position at the moment (Harmony test tomorrow) and agree it has been useful to read other people's experiences while waiting for tests/results. I have a small addiction to this board at the moment! Good to hear your news.

I had a NIPT as one of my twins had a NT of 6.1mm. Combined bloods came back as 1:14 compared to the 1:28,000 for twin sister.

NIPT came back a week later as 1:1.000,000. Had a late amnio for other reasons and also all clear.

OHe is now nearly 8 weeks and perfect!
