It depends a lot on the severity unfortunately so you won't know how bad it will be for a while. I would imagine they would want you to deliver at a proper hospital (not midwife led unit and definitely not at home) possibly even one further away from where you live if it has better facilities. They might decide it's safer to give you a c-section rather than let you try to give birth vaginally. You'll be at higher risk for needing blood transfusions or blood products during the delivery, so perhaps have a think about how you feel about that (most people are fine with it unless they are Jehovah's witnesses.) Where I used to work, which dealt with very high risk women, it was not unusual for the woman to have to have a hysterectomy during or immediately after delivery. This doesn't mean you will have to have one but it could be a possibility depending on the severity so it might be a good idea to start thinking about how you would feel if that was on the table. You'll probably have to stay in hospital longer than a normal delivery depending on how bad it is and what interventions they have to so, I wouldn't be expecting to be discharged quickly afterwards.

Can your local midwives give you any support? If you're really concerned about all or part of it or have unanswered questions I would speak to them.
