To not want to squeeze DH's spots on his back ?? Possibly TMI

DH often has horrible big boil type spot things on his back. They are apparently very painful and he asks me to squeeze them for him. I'm not much of a spot squeezer tbh. I might do the odd one of my own if they're really ready for squeezing iyswim ..... but these are like boils, have no "head" and just bleed if I do squeeze them.

He gets really arsey when I refuse to do them because obviously he can't reach them himself and there's no one else he would consider close enough to ask, so if I don't do it, they just keep coming back .

If I'm honest, it just makes me feel a bit ..... bleurgh.

I've told him to go to the GP to see if there's any cream/medication he can get (might it be adult acne ??), but he refuses.

It might be the cycling causing it. DH has the same problem and it's really exacerbated by both his cycling and his uniform (sweat/lycra). Has he tried a barrier cream like that horrid chamois stuff they slather on their shorts?

Tell him to go to the dr, then maybe the blöödy things won´t keep coming back!

Also,if boils, you really shouldn´t squeeze, as it spreads the infection.

Should be done by a dr under sterile conditions, ideally if boils, I think.

SOH - we think it is the cycling. He reckons its where the camel back rubs and the combination of sweat etc. I don't think he's ever tried the chamois cream on his back - I think he enjoys doing his nethers too much Will suggest that, thanks

Yes, camel here too. Same site as the body armour he wears at work. Very sore. Check the label on the camel too. DH finds anything with zinc in makes it all so much worse.

ok I fully admit I am a filty moo...but I love squeezing spots!

My brothers would get some on their backs from time to time.....Oh the fun.

But if you really don't like it, pack him off to the doctors
