Im SO SO SO angry at him
He was meant to be picking DD up today to spent the weekend with him, At 9.30am i get a text saying he is ill and will not be coming to get her. He was meant to be picking her up at 10am. So i called him and asked him what did he think i did when i was ill.... but he couldnt answer and old me my voice was grating on him and he hung up.
I called him back and made him tell DD that he wasnt coming and why - i dont see why it should always be me telling her when its him letting her down. he told me i was out of order adn cruel for making her do that.

She is ok - sort of, it just annoys me so much.
I dont want her to go and get ill, as i know ill end up dealing with it.. but it just annoys me that he has just no responsibility.

Worse is that i actaully took the day off work yesterday to give DD a quite day at home as she was looking tired and i knew she would have a busy weekend with her dad, so thats a days holiday wasted.

And i had plans and a few dates as well, which i have now had to cancel as couldnt find anyone to babysit.

GGGGGRRRRRR.

Poor dd. Can you take her for a nice treat? Lunch out, or an ice cream or something?

Well I certainly wouldn;t have got him to tell her, I think that made it worde for her. You could have lied and said he had to work, or was too poorly to get out of bed.

If she'd been older I'd say make him tell her, but she'd only ickle.

What a twat!

I agree she is only small and would accept it if you had said he was ill. Best advice I can give you is to make sure dd does not know you are annoyed about it

Surely she is better with you if he is ill?
