AIBU?

to be taken aback that one of DS's nursery nurses has started her 10 week old DD on solids?!

I bumped into one of DS's nursery keyworkers today who is currently off on mat leave and she told me that she has started her 10 week old DD on baby rice already! She said she is always hungry so put her on this so she could sleep through the night

OK yes I know it's none of my business but I just think that a) her baby is WAY too young to start solids and b) a nursery worker should know better?

What do you think?

It's shocking and dangerous too. Everyone should know better.

Surely this is dangerous for such a young baby?

Everyone should know better, especially someone working in a nursery!

I'd love to say it was shocking but then I used to read Netmums and Babyworld. You'd want to look at Bounty where they delete posts which discourage force-feeding pureed Happy Meals to unborn babies

So she could sleep through the night?? blimey! Could be none of your business, but perhaps if she doens't know, it could be your business. Tricky how to let her know though.
