I expect this thread will get removed to - stop treating your posters as idiots and stiffling debate

There was no 'decision to let the DM print posts', as you'd know if you bothered to read the threads that are constantly in active convos....

That's the point - everytime I try to look I get a blank screen. Plus all teh other threads that mention the DM seem to be closed.
Even the discussion of the day takes me to a blank screen

I think its that they have deleted the posts that will identify the journalist who is also a mumsnetter.

YanknCock · 15/08/2009 22:04

Working fine for me, are you sure it's not just you having a problem?

OK - then I IABU - but it's a strange coincidence that evrything thread I try to look at re the DM gives me a blank screen

it's normal for any thread on here to be closed once it reaches circa 1000 posts. and the links are working fine for me.

I've just seen you post on the sn thread that you couldn't see anything when you clicked on the TTR link WetAugust - that link worked fine for me

perhaps there is a problem at your end?

Discussion of the day thread is over 1000 posts, HQ have not had time to change it to the new thread yet - I am guessing they are quit busy at the moment

There is a new thread - part 3 but everyone has run out of steam now hough!

Report
DailyMailIsFarFromPerfect · 15/08/2009 22:07

It is because the OP has along name and the box won't fit alongside the top of the day etc.

If you scroll down far enough you will find the thread in full. No conspiracy.

beanieb · 15/08/2009 22:08

what's happened? Is a regular mumsnetter also a Daily Mail Journalist?

Report
Goblinchild · 15/08/2009 22:09

I've still got all three threads and all the little extra ones.
MI5 have caught up with you at last. Was only a matter of time. Get out whilst you can.

JUST SCROLL DOWN THE THREAD FAR ENOUGH and it is all there.

It is part of the blue box problem (which is to do with posters having names too long to fit on the screen.

Report
beanieb · 15/08/2009 22:11

DO YOU MEAN SCROLL DOWN THIS THREAD?

I CAN@T SEE AN EXPLANATION.

WHY ARE WE SHOUTING?

Report
scottishmummy · 15/08/2009 22:14

the shouting adds to the overall histrionics and threats of righty i'm offsky now mob

Report
DailyMailIsFarFromPerfect · 15/08/2009 22:16

No scroll down the so called "blank threads". It is all there. The OP just has to sit below all of the ad's and stuff on the right so ends up half way down the page.

It is because the OP's names all happen to be too long to fit next to teh ads.

It is stealths fault, her current name is not stealthy and she keps starting the threads

Although, to be fair SM it is WetAugust he is being a bit hysterical here!

WTF are the 'Blank threads'

I am missing something aren't I?

Report
KingCanuteIAmAndTheDMCanFOff · 15/08/2009 22:29

beanie, there aren't any blank threads, pulled threads get a message saying they are not there anymore, blank threads are just what you get when people do not scroll down far enough (ie the top is blank but lower down is not).

SM, possibly, depends on your POV I guess.
