Means everything up to the knicker line should be removed?

I don't want a brazilian or anything too extreme, but if I wear a thong for waxing surely up to the edges of the thong is where the waxer should wax. Is it me? I guess I should check before I leave but honestly I find the whole business off-putting enough as it is without having to fiddle around seeing if I have any stragglers.

Any professional waxers out there, what should I ask for to ensure a decent job is done?

Yes, usually i do have a look and I position my knickers myself to make sure I get the right level waxed.

just tell them where you want it waxed to. any decent waxer should not be phased by it at all. if they are, time to find someone else. my lady asks me to check everything to make sure i'm happy before i go (although now i just have to trust her, as i can't see past my bump!)

Yep I do get it that I could furtle around myself and point out extra bits I want done ... but I don't want to. I think if you book in for a full leg and bikini then everything that's there should go, without the waxee having to have any further involvement!

Where I used to live it happened fine, but where I am now I've tried 3 different ones and none of them are what I'd call thorough.

Ah well, I'll keep searching and in the meantime there's always Veet (or whatever Immac is called these days).

Once you find a good waxer, cling onto her. I've really had too many as you describe. Mine talks WAY too much, but she does a great job, so I stick with her. Could you just specify to do it to the knicker line?

or get a sugaring kit from the body shop. Brilliant - you can do it yourself so much better and wax all the way up to your ears if you like .
