DD was being a bedtime demon last night so i left her in her room and waited outside her door. She wanted daddy - i heard her say to herself "Right, nows my chance, im going to get daddy"

now I would see the genius potential in that and be impressed with her cunning improvisation

wouldn't let her know though

DD1 asked me if she could have some of DH's fathers day cake, I said it was up to him.
She ran off out of the kitchen climbed up onto sofa next to DH and this is what followed
'I love you dadda'
'Love you too DD1'
'I want a big squeezy cuddle'
'OK'
'Oh, that was nice dadda, can I have a kiss too because I love you?'
'Ok'
'Oh, and can I have some of your cake?'

My nearly-three-year-old has learnt a new trick.
Wait until you are tucked up in bed and mummy and daddy have gone downstairs.
Then yell, at the top of your voice....

I NEED A POOOOOOOOO

Sit on toilet, don't poo. Repeat.
Last night I called his bluff after telling him the story about "the boy who cried poo".
I may live to regret this strategy.....

DS was 3 in April never occured to him to lie to give you an idea.

me: "A if I give you back the bit of toy train you are screaming at me for taking off you are you going to keep beating your sister over the head with it??!

DS: "yes me hit B again"

So cut to the other day I went for a lie down as I wasn;t feeling well and dp had told ds when he was looking for me where I was...Bungalow so heard entire conversation. DP went back to living room ds came to my bedroom and informed me "dp says you have to get up now mummy"
Yeeha the boy has learnt to lie to me heehee.

I have heard dd mumbling aways along the lines of now's my chance heaps of times too.

Have another tale of devious behaviour...
DD's were playing with their easel and DD1 wanted it all to herself, so she slyly kept moving DD2 out of the way and moving the crayons/chalk out of her reach, all the time checking to see if I was watching while I pretended to read the paper.
DD2 eventually got fed up and shoved her hard in teh back, (totally deserved IMO)

Mummy! DD2 shoved me really hard, she needs to go and sit down and leave me alone doesn't she?
