AIBU?

To just go to bed?

My OH went to work about 7:30 this morning and still isn't home. He left early so he could have Tink while I went to a meeting, I had to get my dad to have her for a couple of hours.

I couldn't find my keys when I went out to the meeting so he popped home and left them by the door (top floor flat so quite safe) for me.

It's now gone midnight, I'm pregnant and tired and want to go to bed. If I do he won't get in cause I have his key. I can't call him because his mobile is at home and the work phones divert when the receptionist goes home.

I'm not sure whether I'm more stressed or angry!

So, would IBU if I went to bed?

I could put it back where he left it for me, but he hasn't got a communal key on him so he couldn't get in without calling me and me buzzing him in.

do you not have a clue when he'll be back?

leave him a note telling him to stay at a frieds or something

or sleep in his car

that'll teach him for not deing back at a reasonable time

I didn't even know he'd be out this long! We don't have a car, he works around the corner, everyone will be in bed, his parents keys are on his keys here and he's got no money to get anywhere.

aww! what a situation! how old are you kids? are they old enough to leave in bed whilst you pop around the corner to tell him you're going to bed n give him a key?

I'd say you should go to bed, given that you have no idea when he will be back, but you would be a bit unreasonable if you didn't get up to answer the door for him since he left his keys for you. Will you hear the buzzer if you go to bed?

Tink is 26 months, so wouldn't be able to pop out, I'd be gone over half an hour. The buzzers wake the building!

He's not long got back, apparently they went for a drink afterwards. He didn't understand why I was upset cause it's 12:40? He said he couldn't let me know cause he didn't have his mobile - didn't occur to him to borrow one! My favourite bit is when he home he came in and found my key so let himself in anyway!
