4 days post shoulder op, hurt, sore, black and blue,home day after op Weds, Thurs and fri h goes to work, me with 5 dcs (9-16) v little help, endless knocking for goodnights at bed and same in morning coupled wth h snorning, soooooo little sleep, lots of pain, sleep deprivation etc, Sun got to got shoppn for uniform, mon physio, tues dressing, stitches off out, weds/thurs h work!!!!! I want to go away for a week and rest!!!

Send DH to get you breakfast in bed, then he can take the DCs out to get uniforms.

Just refuse to do things that you find difficult to do - you've just had an operation, fgs!

Your older children can help look after the younger ones.
