To be annoyed at DH

We were just at the shops and I asked him to go into the DIY shop to get something. I said I would walk on slowly as we where then going to the park. I then decided to wait for him a bit further on from the shop. So while I was waiting I see him walking into the betting shop.

I hate betting shops and he knows it as I grew up with them, my dad would bring me there every Sat.

I just think why do it when we are together, he knows I hate it, if he really wanted to do I don't think he should have done it on mine and DD time.

Don't see it as much of a big deal TBH

Cool, thought I might have been over reacting, but when you grow up with a gambling parent you tend to detest betting.

He did it when he thought you weren't aware of it though, so probably didn't think it was a big deal.

Did your father's gambling cause lots of upset in your childhood?

Is your DH addicted, or does he just have the odd flutter?

It does seem rather insensitive of him to do this if your childhood was blighted by an addicted parent.
