My DH recently bought a video camera to capture dd's babyhood etc. I get it out regularly and as she cant talk I add stupid voiceovers to make them a little more entertaining in years to come.
MIL is a tad obsessed with dd, which gets on my goat slighty as she had little to do with us prior to dd. Suited me fine, lovely woman, I know gps have a right to dote but it kind of freaks me out.
Anyway I digress, for her (mil) b'day last week dh compiles a little dvd of most video clips to date, including one of me in my bikini on holiday which went on to include dd.
I make the videos for dd and us, not for anyone else. I'm happy to show some to family when they visit us, but am not happy about burning them to dvd and sending them off (lives in another country)regularly. I just imagine her getting it out every night and gazing at the screen (trust me, she is overly obsessed).
I told dh to feel free to take his own video and burn and send but not mine with stupid commentry and bikini shots. AIBU?
