Our baby plans are ours to tell :/

In a conversation with my fiance's sister, I mentioned in confidence that we were planning to start trying in August because we're so desperate for a baby and that'll be the earliest time we're in a position to try. I thought that's a fairly private thing to confide that you don't gossip to other people about. She's told my fiance's mum (I received an excited FB message from her later that day that shes so happy to hear the news???) and who knows who else has been told... I'm really upset! We were really looking forward to sharing our plans ourselves and enjoying the reactions of grandparents etc and getting excited about it but i feel like a piece of that has been taken from us and for what? how gratifying can it be to tell people about someone else's baby plans over Facebook messenger? We hadn't planned to broadcast our plans, I mean what if we have problems conceiving and everyone will be like 'did you change your plans?' :/ I don't know I'm just gutted. I just can't imagine why you'd tell people someone else's baby plans because I always felt like that's not your news to share. Should we say something and tell her to stop or just leave it and never tell her anything private ever again? Or feed her a load of nonsense to gossip about lol. Surely she has other things to talk about, she has her own kids :/ my fiance said if we get pregnant we'll have to hide it from her as long as possible while we tell people our news ourselves. It really shouldn't be that way!
