To feel indignant when a neighbour has no interest in me

I moved to a new place as a single Mum. I feel a great deal of resentment for how cold other Mums have been. During covid I was alone with my child who is an only boy. My neighbour who has an only boy born days apart from my own was always too busy to chat despite invites to come over for a cup of tea (pre and post quarantine. This was over a period of 18 months. I am witty, warm, friendly, well presented and a devoted Mum. Maybe I'm a little dorky and live in a place that can be a bit superficial and obviously I'm a single Mum and I'm sure there's stigma around that. I feel this resentment that it's been so hard to make friends here & that many are superficial acquaintances at best. Especially hard because aquaintances know I must be struggling in a place I know nobody and after leaving a reallt troubled marriage. People have their friends and prefer to socialise with other couples, I find. It's been so hard and so lonely and people just puzzle me. On one hand we think women are so brave to leave relationships and encourage it but on the other hand we only want to know people at their happiest and best. I realise that the dignified thing to do is to forget people like that and move on, but there's a little part of me, that wants to let them know they're rude and have no cause to think they're better than me. How do you do this in a subtle way ?
