No books. Just talk about it. Start now. Make it normal. So that he grows up knowing how he was conceived and how it was normal. If you wait until he is say 5, it becomes a thing. And it shouldn't. Just talk to him.
Tell him some kids have 2 mums. Some have 2 dads. Some have 1 parent. Some are adopted and some are donor conveived. Tell him we are all different. Tell him whatever you feel is right
But do tell him now. He won't understand the full idea
But that doesn't matter. Tell him. Make it normal. Smile x

Thank you, yes i want him to grow up thinking its normal, i guess i just dont know how to tell him. I know it will be harder the longer i leave it, his dad & i are no longer together which makes it harder i think.

Nosy Crow have published one that talks about egg donation, amongst other things.

Have a look at The Families Book by Todd Parr. Whilst it doesn’t refer to egg donation it’s a very easy and colourful book to introduce to very young children that there are lots of different ways to be a family. It gives a good starting point to a drip drip approach that helps kids understand And value difference.
